German keyboard layout not recognized properly in Hyperion #2

It appears that, when booting commit bf1dc9da7a (with bash replaced by bashex using a German qwertz keyboard layout), some letters are swapped.
While y and z are not swapped, shift+8 suddenly becomes * instead of (, which is quite annoying.

CraftOsPc seemingly does show the correct letters when performing such inputs (before booting into hyperion).

This is what my layout looks like: image.png
